For AEE Pacific NW Chapter's "back to school, back to business" September meeting, we have an energy insider's tour of Seattle's renowned Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, hosted by FHCRC's nationally-recognized Bob Cowan, director of facilities engineering, and Jim Walker, facilities engineer.
We assemble at the Hutch at 5:15 sharp for registration and some friendly networking. At 6:00, a brief AEE business meeting... followed by a presentation by Bob and Jim on the impressive energy efficiency and conservation efforts at this respected center.
Included will be coverage of new FHCRC programs such as nighttime setbacks of air change rates in addition to the usual temperature setbacks. Maybe we can even get Bob and Jim to elaborate on why they were recently honored with a certain national award.
At 6:30 p.m., the main attraction: our guided tour of FHCRC's energy efficiency and conservation innovations, with Q&A as we walk.
This event will fill up fast, and spaces are limited, so sign up early.
We look forward to seeing you on September 16.
