Directions

Please join us for this "poop-to-power" plant tour located in Monroe, Wa on April 26th from 10:00a to 1:00p. This project uses anaerobic digester technology to produce methane gas which is then used to produce enough electricty to power 280 homes! We're scheduling a 2 hour tour of the digester plant and dairy farm and then finish up with Q & A in the plant's lunch room with box lunches provided. This project is co-sponsored by the Tulalip Tribes, Lower Skykomish River Habitat Conservation Group, Northwest Chinook Recovery, and the Washington State Dairy Federation and is owned and operated by Qualco Energy, Inc. Please visit our web site at http://www.aeepnwc.com/ to register for this tour. Cost will be $10 for AEE members & students, $15 for non-AEE memebers payable through PayPal and will cover the tour and lunch. Address for the farm is 18117 203rd St SE, Monroe, WA.
